All of our programs are based upon the learning outcomes, principles, and practices outlined in the Framework for School Aged Care: My Time, Our Place.

Children's Health and Safety

We know that as a parent, you want to feel confident that you can leave your child in our care and we will do everything to ensure that your child is going to be supervised, comforted, made to feel welcome and like they belong, and have their basic needs met and their more complicated needs accommodated for.

Well resourced services and sustainable practices

Our services are well resourced with 100% of profits made from fees reinvested directly back into the service. Equipment and play spaces are carefully selected to suit the play, learning, and exploration of the children.

An empowered and diverse team who care

We are passionate about educators being seen as the education professionals that they are, and not just convenient care. We have extremely high expectations for our team, and provide a high level of in house training that allows us to hold ourselves to account, reflect on our practice, and continuously improve what we do.

Relationships with Children

An environment where children feel safe, filled with adults who have their best interests at heart - and they know that. Oatley OOSH is not just a care environment. It's a place where children can find comfort, guidance, and mentorship.

Connections with Families and our Community

We recognise that families are children’s first educators, and experts in their children. As a parent managed organisation, our success is dependent on family input and engagement! Families are invited, and encouraged, to participate in our parent committee meetings and are welcomed into our service at all times.

Oatley OOSHCare has provided community based care in our community since 1997 - an incredible feat, made possible by our strong and long-lasting relationship with our local community.
