Our school holiday program takes place every school holidays with the exception of two weeks over the Christmas break so that our staff can spend time with their families. We also provide an all day program most pupil free days, which we advertise separately.
At Oatley OOSHCare we believe that school holidays are a time for children (and staff) to relax and have fun with their friends, with several opportunities for the children to choose to participate in activities planned and facilitated by our team. Our holiday programs offer exciting excursions and workshops, and we pride ourselves on the service run days that we include in our program! These activities include cooking, STEM, construction, loose parts play, fight club (rough and tumble play is important for emotional development!), group games, the occasional movie, and an excursion or incursion is often included as part of the day's activities.
Our program goes out to families around Week 7. To attend you will need to ensure that you have completed an enrolment pack, and then complete the booking form and provide any additional information such as medical action plans and medication.
We love the space that we play in, and we pride ourselves on being able to plan and put together a stellar program facilitated by the educators the children know and trust.
Our school holiday programs are a play priority program - these programs are truly Their Time, Their Place!
You can't beat a day out - our vacation care programs feature excursions to activities and places that are a bus ride away.
This is just like an excursion except we bring the fun to us - we have access to a ton of amazing facilitators who bring their workshops to us each holidays!
To enrol in our school holiday program:
1) you need to be currently enrolled in our service
2) you must return a fully completed booking form, including all signatures, to enquiries@oatleyoosh.org.au or by handing the form to Sam or one of the supervisors at OPS OOSH
3) if your child has a medical condition such as asthma, anaphylaxis, or diabetes, we must have a current medical action plan and we must hold medication on site on the days that your child attends - if this is your child, please make contact now. Your child cannot attend without them!
Oatley OOSHCare acknowledges the First Nations People of the Eora Nation, upon which we live, play, and learn together as a community.
